8ooklore

I created 8ooklore because I wanted to provide a welcoming and inclusive space for teenagers like myself who are passionate about reading and literature. I often found myself wishing for a community where I could connect with peers who shared my interests, discuss books in depth, and explore new literary worlds together. I saw 8ooklore as an opportunity to realize my dream.

8ooklore emerges as a dynamic online community, bringing together teenage readers from diverse backgrounds and geographical locations under one virtual roof. At the start of every month, throughout the entire year, new members are accepted to join 8ooklore's Discord server. Every 8ooklore member vote for one out of 4 different books suggested by me, the founder and president of 8ooklore which are all related to a theme which was also voted on before. The that was most voted for will be that month's 8ooklore read. At the end of every month, a virtual session is planned for the members to come together, depict the story, analyse characters, discuss literary themes, share personal statements... Members are given the opportunity to obtain a special 8ooklore badge for every month's read to collect. 8ooklore organizes several events and plans fun games for members to engage with each other and develop different skills. On instagram, 8ooklore is also very active for its community.

Currently, 8ooklore has over 40 official members from all around the world !
8ooklore's social media community also grows every day and new members join every month all throughout the year from all continents and various countries.

Applications will be reviewed and accepted members will receive an email with the link to 8ooklore's Discord server at the beginning of the month, just in time to vote for 8ooklore's monthly read and make international connections.
