At YandyTech, we understand that young people in Northern Nigeria, face challenges of unemployment, underemployment and staying dedicated, committed and disciplined when navigating into tech due to a lack of curated resources, mentorship and language barrier, hence the motivation behind initiating DigiLabs.
At DigiLabs, we offer a range of projects to help aspiring tech leaders reach their full potential. Our programs include:
Coding Bootcamps: Our coding boot camp are designed to teach you the fundamentals of programming, from basic syntax to complex algorithms. Our experienced instructors will guide you through hands-on projects and provide personalised feedback to help you succeed.
Data Bootcamps: Our Data Bootcamp program is designed for individuals who want to develop their skills in data analysis, data visualisation, and data-driven decision-making. Over the course of the program, participants will learn how to: Collect, clean, and analyse data using popular data analysis tools such as Python, R, and SQL
Create compelling visualisations and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders
Use data to inform strategic decision-making in a variety of industries, from healthcare to finance
Mentorship Programs: Our mentorship programs pair you with experienced tech professionals.
We hosted the E-Lance with Aliyu Alhassan, Product Management Essentials with Bello Abdullahi, AI Essentials with Ifeoma Nwabufo and JavaScripts Essentials with Mathew Emmanuel where we engage over 200 young people across Nigeria in a virtual setting through our localised tech contents.
Our goal for the next 2-3 years is to penetrate through Sub-Sahara Hausa-speaking countries to target over 100,00 beneficiaries with improved and more strategic content.
