Why did you create this innovation?

Altium has always been committed to supporting the next generation of engineers and PCB designers by removing any barriers that stand in the way of innovation. Our mission is to contribute to the design community by continuing to make professional engineering tools accessible to anyone who needs them.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

The Upverter Education distance learning program includes a library of free interactive courses teaching electronics design and is based on Upverter, a professional, browser-based tool providing easy-to-use PCB design to users of all levels. The collaborative and distance learning features of Upverter fits perfectly with educator's needs now for guiding students through electronics design and their exploration of technology and engineering.

How has it been spreading?

Upverter Education started in June and currently has over 1300 students enrolled globally in our courses. This number is growing daily.
