We’re gearing up for the HundrED Innovation Summit, set to take place in Helsinki, November 7th-9th. This invitation-only event brings together the world's most inspiring innovators in education. Across three days, education innovators will share their expertise and experience through keynotes, workshops, and masterclasses.
From learning how to spread an innovation to 100 countries, to debating whether students can change the world if adults cannot, to discovering the experience of building a Finnish preschool in China – this year's Summit will explore the biggest, most innovative themes in education!
Amongst the first speakers to be confirmed are Sanni Grahn-Laasonen, Finnish Minister of Education, Pasi Sahlberg, award-winning education specialist, and Ilkka Paananen, Co-founder and CEO of Supercell.
Education innovators from a range of countries and covering a whole host of themes will be taking to the stage. Amongst those confirmed so far are Kiran Bir Sethi, Founder of Design for Change, James Steckart, Head of School at THINK Global School, Kayla Delzer, Founder of Top Dog Teaching, and Cleary Vaughan-Lee, Executive Director of the Global Oneness Project. More speakers will be sharing their expertise over the course of the summit, you can find a full list of confirmed speakers here.
We are honored to have the youth voice represented at the summit, too. This year’s speakers include Kehkashan Basu, International Children’s Peace Prize Winner and Founder and President of the Green Hope Foundation. HundrED Youth Ambassador Jordy Angel Coldwell, who you may recognize as the creator of this film on student voice, will also take to the stage!
This is only a taste of what’s to come, more speakers to be confirmed soon!
