We are proud to launch our  HundrED 2020 Global Innovation Collection as part of the speeches from Li Andersson, The Minister Of Education, Finland and  Jan Vapaavuori, the Mayor of Helsinki, welcoming all global and local innovators to Helsinki.

From a traveling high school to networks that ignite engaging, relevant and equitable learning practices, highlighting student voice and reigniting intrinsic motivation in teachers and education systems. This year’s Global Collection will explore the biggest, most innovative themes in education and we would love for you join us!

3. Explore the City Landmarks

The Helsinki Education Week and HundrED Innovation Summit events are spread throughout the city making it easy to discover the beautiful landmarks Helsinki has to offer. Be sure to check out the events happening in the Helsinki City Oodi Library, Tennispalatsi theater, Supercell HQ to name a few... For a full list of events and locations, click here

4. What's happening at the Helsinki Education Week?

The Helsinki City has been busy making this year's Helsinki Education Week the best one yet! With workshops offered in Finnish, Swedish & English across an array of topics like a full Sustainability Workshop DayAssessment 2020 Panel and more! All workshops are organised by a variety of education experts so there is sure to be something for everyone! Explore the full program and join the conversation here

5. Immerse yourself in Finnish culture

Don't be fooled by the cold weather! Finns have come up with the best solutions to not let the cold wind and rain dampen your spirits! First up is to try one of the many public saunas. One of our favourites at the HundrED office is Löyly. After you've warmed up, head into the city and check out the famous art gallery Amos Rex. Dare to try traditional Finnish food? Check out Restaurant Olo or Juuri for Finnish food with a Spanish twist! Best way to get to know a city? Ask the local education community for their recommendations while you're here. You can't go wrong.
