Using mind maps as an innovative thinking tool in education helps students to visualize and externalize concepts and understands the connections between different ideas.This innovative approach was implemented and executed in class room teaching in Biology which resulted in improved academic performance of students, better creativity, critical thinking, clearer understanding of relation and facts.
