Youth Ambassadors

The HundrED Youth Ambassador Programme in partnership with IBO supports future innovators and changemakers to create and build upon social impact projects tackling the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Through online workshops, discussions, opportunities for mentorship and a closed discord channel, Youth Ambassadors will learn, ideate and collaborate to tackle some of today’s global challenges. In addition to providing support to these future innovators, this programme aims to build a supportive, kind, inspiring and safe online community of young people aged 12 - 19.

In partnership with The International Baccalaureate (IB).

Q: How much time do I need to commit to the programme?

There is no compulsory amount of time that we request Youth Ambassadors to dedicate to the programme, but in order to get the most out of it, we encourage Youth Ambassadors to use around 15 hours during the three months of the programme to connect with others, attend some online sessions or participate in conversations with our inspirational speakers (which will be also recorded, so it will be possible to watch them later). In addition to that, those who are working on their own social impact project would dedicate time according to their own availability and interest.

Q: How will I attend the online meetings, if we are all in different time zones?

Since we have youth ambassadors all over the world, some online activities will be organised in the morning and some in the afternoon (EET, UTC +2). We will have two online meetings monthly (on Saturdays) at different times so that it's possible for Youth Ambassadors to participate in either one of them. In addition to this, there will be two weekly online pop-in videocalls at different times if you want to get feedback, guidance on your project or simply connect with others in a more casual atmosphere. Many other resources and materials will be pre-recorded, so that everyone can look into them at their own pace.

Q: When does the programme take place?

The programme has two cohorts, so Youth Ambassadors can attend either the programme starting either from March 18th to June 17th 2023, or then the second cohort, from September to December 2023.
