Maria Caldeira holds a Master’s in Supervision and Pedagogical Guidance from the University of Lisbon and a postgraduate degree in School Administration from ISCTE. She is the Director of the Alto do Lumiar School Group in Lisbon and President of BeEmotional – Social and Emotional Learning Throughout Life. She also serves as Portugal’s International Delegate to the International Network for Emotional Education and Well-being (RIEEB). Her work promotes emotional, social, linguistic, and digital skills, emphasizing inclusion, innovation, and sustainability. Caldeira mentors the International Emotional Thinking Conferences and coordinates several international education projects. She views emotional education as essential for preparing youth to adapt to a changing world.
