Laura is the Education and Financial Literacy Lead at Bancolombia Foundation where she is helping transform rural education and financial literacy in Colombia through initiatives that aim to improve the quality of rural schools, increase rural employability, and improve financial well-being of rural communities. She works closely with both the private and public sectors to increase impact and reach, as well as changing the way social programs work in the country. Laura previously held an advisory role to the Secretary of Education of Bogota in International Cooperation and Private Sector Affairs, and as Administrative Coordinator of the College of the Americas at the Inter-American Organization for Higher Education – IOHE.
