Dr. Jennifer Merriman is the Director of Research & Design at the International Baccalaureate. In this role she oversees research, policy & design, innovation, and data analytics. She has nearly 25 years’ experience in research & development, program evaluation, measurement & assessment, validity, efficacy & effectiveness, and data analytics & insights. She holds a PhD in Cognitive Studies in Education and has published dozens of studies in peer-reviewed journals, technical reports, and book chapters. She previously held leadership roles at Rutgers University, The College Board, and Newsela, an educational technology company in New York City.
