The Story Of Foundation is committed to creating projects, conversations and events that offer multiple perspectives and a compassionate framework to grow from. Through large themes like light and space, the foundation has built two informal and spontaneous learning festivals for the general public and children called The Story of Light, 2015 and The Story of Space, 2017. Through strong collaborations and our community of artists, researchers, science communicators, writers, sound designers, educators and many more we've managed to create platforms for children, young adults and adults to learn multiperspective thinking and pick up 21st century skills. Through these platforms we have built public installations, workshops, talks, panel discussions and film programs. We believe that learning happens everywhere. Our programs, projects, and conversations happen across social spaces (cities, communities) and dedicated learning spaces.
People are motivated to learn by vocational/career relevance, a natural desire to find meaning, personal relevance, increasing capital (social, economic, network), improving quality of life, being mentored, and working together to achieve shared goals. While the motivations of learning remain the same in the 21st century, its needs are changing, its forms and institutions are evolving. Whatever the reason, we have the ability and right to learn at any stage of life.
The Story Of Foundation is an open community creating lifelong value through shared and interdisciplinary learning journeys. Over the next few years we will be working on The Story of Mind, a pop-up university and an online platform.
