Why did you create this innovation?

After decades of experience, I had the opportunity to learn about children's pain from a lack of socio-emotional and executive function skills and how this affects their adult lives as a result, due to this I decided to help by creating neuropsychological education programs in schools, because I believe that only by touching education we can cause more impact in the development of these children.

How does your innovation work in practice?

The central idea of our project is through mediators develop skills in a systematic development of abilities in students. To accomplish this, we developed a strong curriculum in intensive courses for mediators. We have built a foundation for pedagogical work, so that in classes mediators can prepare students to assimilate the contents of the curricular components that compose the pedagogical trail. Classes can be implemented in two formats: curricular or extra-curricular, in person or online live, in public and private schools, promoting the construction of solidified skills in the appropriation of the concepts that underlie them, ensuring students the development of awareness of themselves, the potential of their brain, how their emotions and thoughts work and integrate, their personal strengths and how to become more socially skilled. Through different practices, we promote integral training based on the development of its executive function and its socio-emotional intelligence.

How has it been spreading?

Among the most developed projects, we highlight the one with the greatest impact, the Super Heroes Academy, a project that has so far covered a total of 1300 children between the ages of 6 and 11, from public and private schools in different locations of the country, such as the Southeast, South and Midwest regions. At first the classes were completely offline, but with the challenges presented at the beginning of the pandemic, we reorganized the didactic and pedagogical practice of the course and now we are the pioneers in developing neuropsychological educational courses in the live online modality, which allowed us to expand from the borders of Brazil, also serving students residing in the United States, but our goal is to expand in the US so we go from there to more countries.

If I want to try it, what should I do?

You can access our website and fill in the interest form telling us if you want to take Brain Academy Courses to your school or wants to enroll your child in one of our extra-curricular offline or online courses. We will then contact you, if you want the project for your school, after we sign a contract for one year, we will start implementing the project, for your child they can start right away.
