About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

Slideator is developed to help teachers and students create, host, manage, and share their video presentations and tutorials in one place using any desktop or mobile device, and establish a global library of quality video presentations.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

I developed Slideator a few years ago to work on desktop and mobile devices using any OS, and from the comfort of the user's own browser. Slideator is designed for integration with any LMS to help educators create their own videos from within their own learning environments. Users can upload their content in many popular formats and combine video with scrollable slide thumbnails, allowing the audience to move to the respective video content and control both the progress and length of video.

How has it been spreading?

Slideator has received a considerable regional and international recognition and awards with thousands of quality video presentations and tutorials created every day.

If I want to try it, what should I do?

Implementation steps

How to use Slideator Cloud Recorder
Slideator Web Recorder is designed to help presenters record and share their pre-recorded video presentations and tutorials from the comfort of their own browsers. The Recorder is cross-platform and supported on desktop and mobile devices by modern browsers. The Recorder is designed to run completely internally by your browser and it never connects to the Internet while recording.
To record and share your video presentation, please follow these steps:
Upload Content
Click Slides button to import your presentation slides from your computer or mobile device. You can upload your slides in MS PowerPoint (PPTX), Keynote for Mac (KEY), OpenDocument Presentation (ODP), WPS Presentation (WPS), or PDF format. Once your slides are imported successfully, click Next, Previous, Last, and First buttons to navigate through your presentation.
Set Media Resources
Click Settings button to set media resources. Select your audio device and test your mic level before recording. Select and turn on your camera before recording if you need to show your face or overlay your camera.
Start Recording
Click Record button when ready to start recording. Click Pause/Resume button while recording to pause and resume recording. Annotate your content using the pointer and marker, and click Clear button to delete all your annotations. Open Cam menu to toggle between different cam layouts while recording. Select full cam, side-by-side, or picture-in-picture to place your cam over the slide. Click Desktop button to capture the entire desktop screen, application window, or specific browser tab.
Save and Publish
Click Stop button to finish recording, then review your video before saving and publishing. If you are not happy with your recording and need to record a new video, click Delete button to delete current video and start over again. Click Save button to process, save, and publish your video presentation to your Slideator channel as public or unlisted video. Once your video is saved, copy the video URL and share it with your audience.
