To advance the knowledge in Traditional Chinese Medicine across the world.
As an IB student passionate about both science and holistic wellness, I created QiScan a mobile app that brings Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and acupuncture into the digital age. It helps users understand their health by analyzing symptoms through simple scans and questions (like tongue diagnosis, stress levels, and energy flow). Then it recommends natural treatments from pressure points to herbal teas and mindfulness exercises. It’s like having a mini traditional healer in your pocket, especially helpful for communities without easy access to alternative healthcare. It’s designed to be inclusive, educational, and empowering, especially for youth and students like me who want to blend ancient practices with modern tools.
o far, I’ve shared QiScan with my classmates, wellness clubs, and even introduced it during health-related CAS events. The idea got great feedback, especially from young people curious about natural ways to manage stress and wellbeing.
The Innovation is still an on-going project, so I advise you can follow up through my email for further discussion
