The project carried out by two female fellows Sheikha Ghorab and Sherifa Al-Khayyat aimed to increase the students' self-confidence, develop the skills of speaking and expressing their opinions and attitudes towards the various issues surrounding them. The team cooperated with one of their fellowship colleagues Nada Bahzad to introduce the students to the skills of speaking and addressing audience, and it was beautiful to see how these students spoke fluently and expressed their opinions on issues that are not common or familiar to this region, especially at this age. Some of the issues that the students addressed are the zoo and animal rights, and how money brings happiness or not.
The two teachers conducted public speaking training sessions, body language sessions, tone of voice lessons, rehearsals of adressing different topics in front of the audience in collaboration with debate clubs in Qatar
The project was spread in two schools and admins, school staff and other students were involved.
The two teacher shared their project with their colleagues in the orgnization, they also created a video talking about their project.
