What we do?
Students did the experiment with a peeling shower gel, containg polyethilen(grined microplastics).Using simple things from a local shop,a bowl,a burning candle and a coffee filter, they drained solluted gel,let it dry and then scraped beads of microplastics.Burning it on a simple spoon over the heat, they proved it smelled exactly like a plastic
Sharing mutually this experience, they bought from online pages natural ingredients to be used instead of polyethilene in peeling gels, and enoyed in untouched original odours of nature.
Our tailoresses from a nearby class tackled with the problem of reusing an old garments, sewing useful bags, and held an exhibition of it in our school hall.
Why we do it?
Our effort is to raise awareness about the global plastic waste crisis. Learn what you can do to reduce your own single-use plastics, and take your pledge.
