This approach has been working well. This was the taboo earlier but now inclusivity is well accepted and taken by stakeholders. Even the school managements are also very cooperative. The infra has been changed and designed accordingly to meet their special needs.

About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

I found that specially abled students need our extra handholding and care. Our little compassion can work wonders.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

It is like inclusive one and all are the part of my class. None is left behind . each child is unique and so is his handling

How has it been spreading?

Its gaining popularity as special children being diagnosed and need extra help from our side . Every class has set of students whe need our special actions and affection.
Identifying them and guiding them well is the need of the hour.

If I want to try it, what should I do?

Identify them , see the area of need , ask counsellor for help. Get them digonsed and take proactive actions.
Don't point them out
Let them feel a part of the process
Let peer group accepts them whole heartedly
Give them shadow teacher
Make them a part of the group and assign them light activities.
Motivate them with small tokens of appreciation

Identification
Identify the students who need you
Diagnose
Get them diagnosed through professional counsellor. They will diagnose the percenatge of disability and evalaute accordingly.
Plan
Plan a strategy for them.

self-organised time,
outdoor activities;
Execute
Provid them with the opportunities for all to participate in meaningful decision-making in school, e.g. through consultations, opinion surveys, referenda, electing class representatives, student parliaments, focus groups, in-class feedback on learning activities, and an element of student choice in relation to topics taught and teaching methods used. The activities should be executed and people at grassroot level should be able to understand the plan of action.
