Grades 5 and 6 have created a game, LeafIt, using AI to generate cards and structure the rules. The entire class has contributed, and as a result, they are awarded the prize for Best Class in a competition how to include Ai in the class.

"Leaf It To Me" empowers students to handle AI critically while engaging in an entrepreneurial journey from idea to product. By integrating AI as a tool—not a replacement for creativity—students learn to evaluate, refine, and develop their own game. AI streamlines certain tasks, making it possible to take a project from concept to completion efficiently. Students should be active creators.

About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

I wanted the class to learn how to work with AI. They had to learn the benefits and dangers.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

Beginning by showing the process we have been through inventing this card game to the final produt, I hope to inspire other teacher to implement a project with use of Ai in their lessons. The teachers who are interested can get a lessonplanning and guidance.

Lectures and via social media.
