Global Creative Hub

location_on Pakistan
Global Creative Hub is a social development initiative working towards building the next generation of female changemakers in developing countries. We do this by changing the narrative and supporting girls to break stereotypes and continue their journey in education, digital transformation, and STEM. Alongside empowering parents, teachers, & communities to support girls rights.

about the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

In Pakistan where 17 million girls aged 15-24 reside, but only 18% of women represent STEM fields, I ventured on a journey to create opportunities for girls like me to achieve gender equality at large. I believe that factors like child marriages, stereotypes, and lack of STEM education opportunities are some of the main contributors to such a major divide in women's representation.

How does your innovation work in practice?

A platform for women & girls by women & girls.

Safe space innovations focusing on giving rise to female leaders in STEM to achieve gender parity in education, digital, & STEM. Female-inclusive, accessible, flexible, innovations including STEM Girl, BloomED, TecGirl, & TRDC.

STEM Girl: Creating the next generation of Pakistani female change-makers by sparking scientific curiosity through storytelling, technology, and female STEM role models.

BloomED: Connecting out-of-school girl child with educational opportunities & programs for self-development.

TecGirl: Transformational annual leadership experience focusing on empowering girls to be changemakers in their communities.

TRDC: Digital exchange program for teachers to explore the necessary skills to teach/practice resilience to disadvantaged youth.
