ENO planting tree (Environment Online)

Planting the tree, the students become ambassadors in their local communities to spread the word on issues that affect the nature.

The tree is a symbol for us,it reminds us of nature and the importance of the environment, and also symbolises our cooperation between schools around the world. We wanted our tree to grow with us in the future. This project is held with a handful of schools, mutually exchanging the experience. Environment Online (ENO) works to strengthen environmental awareness and international solidarity .

About the innovation

What is ENO planting tree (Environment Online)

What we do?

Environment Online (ENO), a global network of schools and communities for sustainable development, aims to get schools from all over the world to plant trees and capture 3 million tons of CO2 from the atmosphere by 2026.

It is the perfect tool for us and our global network. Our ENO activities challenge  Green Cities around the world to join this huge environmental movement and rate our network’s cities. Quality of the environment in cities  and countries have already been improved – many more to come!

Our concrete deeds for the environment like planted  herbs, engaged local decision-makers to join this event, and one  of our students  gave a short speech in this occasion.
The local media was also involved.Students decided to plant additionally only local tree species, typical for our climate and dominant tree species in our region. Our certificate is posted with photos!

Why we do it?

We participate in ENO Tree Planting twice during the year.First ,the day around 22 May,  the international day of ecological biodiversity, since our aim is to promote environmental awareness and international solidarity among school children around the world. The second participation happens on 21 September, to celebrate the international day for peace.
