What we do?
All the courses from Electricats are developed originally based on the IB structures and students skillsets. We would like to provide students with International-vision curriculums.
Instead of using ready-to-go kits or robots, we encourage students to build from sketch. Students will need to learn the fundamental concepts of sensors/hardwares/software and use handcraft/3d printer/laser cutter to build the case. As a result, students will have less restrictions in their projects.
Why we do it?
We believe in 21st century, students not only need to learn the knowledge but also how to apply it into the daily life. Maker Education is a proper way that requires students to combine multiple subjects and apply them together.
How we do it?
In actual course, we usually provide students a real scenario problem. They need to work as teams and make analysis together using design thinking tools. Eventually students need to come up with a real product made with micro-controllers.
