Conecta

Turning everyday lesson planning into continuous teacher growth.

Teachers plan lessons every day but rarely grow from it. Conecta turns lesson planning into professional development — giving teachers personalised, pedagogy-first feedback in real time, so growth happens in the flow of work, not outside it.

Teaching is the most important profession in the world, yet teachers are chronically undersupported in their growth. We hope Conecta helps shift professional development from a disconnected, occasional event into a continuous, personalised practice — so that every teacher, everywhere, can grow in the flow of their work and ultimately give every child a better education. We believe that when teachers grow daily, the effects compound. A teacher who reflects on their practice every time they plan a lesson becomes a fundamentally different educator over months and years — more adaptive, more confident, more effective. Multiply that across a school, a district, a system, and the impact on student learning becomes transformational. We also believe this is a question of equity. Right now, access to high-quality professional development is deeply unequal. Teachers in well-resourced schools have coaches, mentors, and time. Teachers in under-resourced contexts — often the ones working with the students who need the most support — have almost none of that. Conecta exists to close that gap, making personalised, pedagogy-first development available to any teacher with a device, regardless of where they teach or what system they work in. Ultimately, we hope Conecta contributes to a world where teacher development is no longer seen as something done to teachers, but as something that lives in the heart of their daily practice — continuous, meaningful, and theirs.

About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

After years working across education systems globally, I kept seeing the same pattern: teachers were expected to grow professionally, but the development on offer was disconnected from their actual work. Workshops happened once a year. Feedback came too late, or not at all. Meanwhile, teachers were planning lessons every single day — a deeply reflective act that was never leveraged as a learning opportunity. I built Conecta because I believed that the most powerful professional development isn't something that happens to teachers — it happens with them, in the moments that matter most.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

A teacher opens Conecta to plan their lesson. As they work through their planning, Conecta analyses their approach through a pedagogy-first lens and surfaces personalised insights — prompts, reflections, and suggestions grounded in learning science. The teacher doesn't need to attend a workshop or wait for an observation. Growth is embedded in something they already do every day. School leaders can also track development trends across their teams, making it easier to support teachers at scale.

How has it been spreading?

Conecta launched in March 2026 and has already reached users across 10+ countries through organic growth and partnerships with schools, universities, and teacher training programs. Educators are sharing it within their networks because it fits naturally into their existing workflow — no extra time required, no behaviour change needed.

How have you modified or added to your innovation?

Since launch, we have refined our pedagogy framework based on direct feedback from teachers across different education systems and cultural contexts, ensuring the insights Conecta delivers are relevant globally, not just in one system.

Implementation steps

Sign up and onboarding
Users create an account and complete a short onboarding process to define their context (e.g., subject, grade level, goals, or institutional setup).
Create a class and set the group context
Users create a class or group and define key characteristics (e.g., student age, learning needs, curriculum, goals, or constraints). This ensures that all planning is grounded in a real, contextualized teaching environment.
Set a teaching or planning objective
Users begin by identifying what they want to design or improve (e.g., a lesson, unit, or specific learning objective).
Structure the lesson or task
The platform guides users through key pedagogical decisions (e.g., objectives, content, learning activities, assessment, and inclusion strategies), helping them organize their thinking step by step.
Generate and refine materials
Based on these inputs, the system generates aligned outputs (e.g., lesson plans, activities, or slides), which users can review, edit, and adapt.
Implement in practice
Users apply the materials in their real teaching environment.
Build and review the longitudinal Teacher Profile
As users continue planning, the platform automatically builds a longitudinal Teacher Profile based on their decisions and patterns over time.
Teachers can review this profile to gain insights into their pedagogical approaches, strengths, and areas for growth.
Access personalized learning pathways
Based on the Teacher Profile, users receive tailored recommendations and can directly access short, practical microlearning resources as well as verified certification pathways.
Reflect and iterate
Users continuously refine their practice by revisiting their plans, applying new strategies, and tracking their growth over time through the evolving Teacher Profile.
