To empower children of developing countries to learn by providing digital learning resources and literacy workshops so they can receive a quality education, develop a lifelong love of learning, and be better prepared for a changing world.
Content can be accessed from a tablet or a phone, Pre loaded content, no internet required, Locally relevant content created in cooperation with the community, Training provided to teachers to ensure the correct usage of the platform , Writing workshops.
Why we do it?
* 250 million children at primary schools in developing countries are struggling with Reading simple words. *More than half of “out of school” children of primary age are in Africa. *Only 35%of schools have access to electricity in Sub-Saharan Africa. *The literacy rate in Sub- Saharan Africa has improved in the last 50 years but is still only at 75%. *Most of the Sub-Saharan African Countries do not have sufficient access to books for the size of the class. *In Sub-Saharan Africa the average number of children per reading textbook in primary education is 2 or more.
