We want to see a shift from one-size-fits-all education to learning that truly adapts to every child—including learners with disabilities. We believe AI can help make personalized and inclusive education achievable at scale, while giving special educators more time to focus on relationships, teaching, and individual needs. Our hope is that no child is limited by a lack of time, resources, or access to personalized support, and that every learner can experience education that recognizes their strengths, builds confidence, and helps them thrive.

About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

We created Learningwell.ai because education is still largely designed around a one-size-fits-all model, while every learner is different. This challenge is even greater in special education, where educators spend significant time creating IEP goals, adapting content, preparing individualized resources, and managing documentation.

Our vision is simple: AI should not replace the special educator—it should empower them. Learningwell.ai was created to give educators practical AI support so they can spend less time on preparation and administration and more time understanding, teaching, and supporting each learner. We built SPED into the platform from the beginning because inclusion should not be an afterthought

What does your innovation look like in practice?

Learningwell.ai brings AI directly into the educator's workflow through our AI SPED Magic Box. A special educator can use it to generate IEP goals, simplify and differentiate learning content, create sensory-friendly worksheets, develop behavior-support resources, and prepare parent guidance materials.

The platform is designed to turn tasks that can take hours into practical starting points within minutes. Educators remain in control—they review, adapt, and personalize the AI-generated resources based on each child's needs.

The broader platform also connects teacher and student AI tools, creating a more personalized learning ecosystem.

How has it been spreading?

Learningwell.ai is currently at an early innovation and MVP stage, so we are focused on building evidence, partnerships, and early adoption rather than claiming large-scale deployment.

We are reaching educators, special educators, parents, education organizations, innovation networks, and potential school partners through direct outreach, professional communities, partnerships, pilots, and innovation platforms.

Our approach is intentionally bottom-up: start with educators, demonstrate meaningful value in real workflows, gather feedback and evidence, and then expand toward schools and larger education systems.

We are also engaging organizations working in inclusive and special education to ensure the innovation is shaped by the people it is intended to serve.

How have you modified or added to your innovation?

Special education has increasingly shaped how we think about the product. Rather than building a generic AI education tool and adding SPED later, we made special education a core part of the platform from the beginning.

We developed the AI SPED Magic Box around practical educator needs such as IEP goals, differentiated and simplified content, sensory-friendly resources, behavior support, and parent communication.

We are continuing to refine the innovation through educator feedback and early validation, with the goal of making the AI more useful, responsible, adaptable, and aligned with real special-education workflows.

If I want to try it, what should I do?

We are currently inviting special educators, teachers, schools, and education professionals to explore Learningwell.ai and participate in our early validation journey.

The best way to try the innovation is to start with a real special-education challenge—for example, creating an IEP goal, adapting a lesson for a learner with different needs, simplifying difficult content, or creating a sensory-friendly resource.

We encourage educators to test the output, personalize it, and share feedback with us. Our goal is not simply to demonstrate what AI can generate, but to understand whether it genuinely helps educators save time and provide better support to learners.

For organizations, we are also open to discussing structured pilots and collaboration opportunities.
