What is the purpose of education?
Globally, the education sector is recognising that there must be a shift in the purpose of education from the Human Capital framework, preparing young people for yesterday’s jobs, towards the Human Flourishing framework that prioritizes equipping young people for lives of purpose and fulfillment.
Human flourishing is deeply aligned with our values: for the past ten years, our mission has been to ensure that every child can flourish. We know that human flourishing is both the precondition for and the desired impact of great education. As a deeply community-driven organisation, we believe the key to inciting actionable steps towards this goal is through collective dialogue.
