The application period for submissions to the Global Collection 2028 will be open from May 28, 2026 to May 1, 2027. Selected innovations will be notified in the late summer of 2027 and the public release will be in the fall of 2027.

How is your innovation reviewed?
We select innovations based on a standardised review process that includes external review from members of our HundrED Academy. We evaluate innovations based on two main criteria - impact and scalability.
For more information about how your innovation is reviewed, check out our page, HundrED Research.
The benefits of being selected to the Global Collection:
Validation and Visibility: Selected innovations are officially validated by the HundrED Academy, and will be visibly identifiable as such directly on the innovation page. Additionally, selected innovations are featured in HundrED's flagship publication, the Global Collection report, which is shared with HundrED's networks. These two main benefits provide selected innovations with visibility within the HundrED Community as well as on a global scale.
Community Networking: Innovators representing the selected innovations are invited to join HundrED's Innovation Summit, an online or in-person event that showcases and celebrates their work. During the summit, attendees have the opportunity to connect, reflect, and share their experiences. Workshops and opportunities to learn about the global education ecosystem round out the event.
Engagement: Innovators of selected innovations are invited to engage with HundrED's extensive community as well as partners. HundrED may invite selected innovators to join our webinars or relevant programming as representatives of the community. Additionally, HundrED may share information about selected innovations with its partners to expand opportunities.
Who reviews your innovation?
The HundrED Research Team reviews all innovations to compile a shortlist of innovations, after which our global, crowd-sourced Academy reviews the shortlisted innovations. Based on the Academy's reviews, HundrED Research curates the final list of 100 most impactful and scalable innovations for the annual Global Collection.
Interested in reviewing the innovations?
Are you passionate about innovation in education? Are you committed to enabling, enacting, and supporting innovations that make education more accessible, more equitable, and more excellent? You can apply to become an innovation reviewer at our HundrED Academy. Please note that, in the event your own innovation is shortlisted for Academy Review, you will be asked to decline participation in the review process to avoid any conflict of interest.
