The HundrED Foundation has now been established and for the first time ever, we are open to receiving donations.
For the last 10 years, HundrED has been championing the education innovation sector by identifying and sharing new educational practices from around the world. Our mission is to ensure that every child can flourish, which we believe is possible by supporting and advocating for the education solutions that already exist. The core of our work has always been free for innovators and community as we strongly believe in the importance of supporting innovators no matter their resource capacities.
The HundrED Foundation taps into the potential of existing solutions
The complex and highly contextual nature of our global education systems presents many barriers for education leaders when it comes to successfully implementing new solutions at scale. The world is full of hardworking specialists who are driving innovative, impactful, effective and scalable approaches to education. These existing solutions have enormous untapped potential to be spread beyond an individual classroom. However, as a sector, we are currently facing rising pressure as funding opportunities have been cut globally.

The HundrED Foundation is dedicated to enabling and facilitating the work of both innovators and implementers, driving innovation at scale.
“Many education providers find it challenging to identify and implement solutions that work on a system level. Through the HundrED Foundation, we endeavour to better understand what works in different contexts and why, while providing better access to education leaders to the wealth of existing education solutions that currently exist,” explains Lasse Leponiemi, co-founder of HundrED.
Support our work
We are now accepting donations from individuals and organisations to support the continuation of our work in researching, validating and amplifying the solutions that improve education for many.
The HundrED Foundation focuses on these three activities:
- Practitioner Support - validating, promoting and connecting impactful education solutions through the annual HundrED Global Collection and Innovation Summit.
- Funding Calls - partnering up with philanthropic organisations to provide direct funding support to scale proven education solutions.
- Research - building a robust, evidence-based case for innovation implementation.
