To keep up with the rapidly changing world, Campus offers an opportunity for teachers to better understand happenings outside of school and gives the tools to continue to inspire and prepare students for future challenges.
Campus brings together specialists and changemakers from diverse fields of work to speak on behalf of the on-going changes on a local and global level. The not-for-profit seminars for teachers have been organized in five countries in the past five years.
The next Campus seminar will be arranged on October 4th this year at the Finnkino Tennispalatsi in Helsinki, Finland. On stage will be journalist and author Jenni Pääskysaari, the inventor of pulled oats Maija Itkonen, and expert in change Petri Rajaniemi amongst others that can be found on the Campus webpage.
Campus seminars will be tackling issues such as: Are Finnish young people facing unequal opportunities? What is the future of PISA? Can subscription drugs be 3D printable in the future? What is coaching on a world champion level? What are the skills needed in the future workforce? How can we make diversity a resource?
