Anna-Mari Jaatinen and Siltamäki school community have created the vision, pedagogical mission and ethos of the real 21st century school culture. Joyful Learning & Empowering Education focus on the leadership, pedagogical developments, project and phenomenon-based education and innovative learning environments at the Siltamäki Primary School. These elements are based on collaborative & co-creative learning and Design-pedagogy.
The education culture of Siltamäki Primary School is based on The Creative Fire Model. The CFM aims at holistic child-centered education. The most important objectives are the learning community, values, shared leadership, creative curriculum & evaluation and educational technology. During the years 2010 -2015 the whole Siltamäki school community has created and produced project-based and phenomenon-based Magic Forest Musicals. Teachers and students use a lot of different kind of technologies that are integrated in the production of musicals and other learning projects of the school.
