We're looking for a Swedish-speaking Freelance Researcher to join our HundrED Helsinki office on a part-time basis. About the Role

We are looking for a talented freelance Researcher who is fluent in Swedish to help us with a spotlight on bilingual education with our partner Svenska Kulturfonden. You will be responsible for evaluating, researching, and translating various aspects of this spotlight in collaboration with our research team and Svenska Kulturfonden. As a freelance researcher, we expect you will be: detail-oriented, take initiative, a fast learner and can work independently, have a high standard of quality in your work and have excellent communication skills. Ideally, candidates will have experience teaching and learning with bilingual educational contexts and are pursuing a career related to education. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Research bilingual learning educational solutions and practices 

  • Write and edit HundrED Research Report on bilingual learning

  • Write, edit and publish engaging posts about the research project

  • Select appealing images and videos to complement the text, basic editing skills and knowledge for image handling

  • Liaise with the Senior Leadership, Head of Research, Media & Community and the Sales departments to stay updated on company plans

  • Build relationships with innovators, ambassadors, community members and other stakeholders participating in the research project

  • Coordinate with internal teams to create articles and posts about the research project

  • Respond to questions and comments about the research project

 

Requirements

  • Experience as an education researcher, teacher or similar role

  • Experience translating text between Swedish and English

  • Experience conducting academic literature reviews and integrating thoughtfully through a research project

  • Fluent in Swedish (written and spoken)

  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)

  • BSc in Education or other relevant fields
