The Big Think school Brimsdown Primary in Enfield, London, brought the value of Compassion to life at Christmas. Their Hearing Unit worked with children in Year 3 (aged 7-8) to learn British Sign Language to sign a specially composed song 'At Christmas' - written for anyone who might feel lonely during our first Covid Christmas.
The song was shared with schools and families and included lesson resources on Resilience with a story called Dear Belly about a working family getting the courage to ask for help from a food bank during the pandemic. The Compassion at Christmas pack was used to raise money for food bank charity Feeding Britain.
