HundrED Ambassador | Lead PSPE Teacher | Passionate, driven and enthusiastic teacher, leader and coach
My name is Sarah, I'm originally from the UK and left in 2008 to teach internationally. I have worked in Australia, Hong Kong and currently Singapore both as a health and physical education teacher in schools and as a health and performance coach in gyms, sports clubs and independently.
I stand for
Educational change, for healthy lives and wellbeing at all ages. Promoting lifelong learning opportunities and empowering women and girls.
We can be healthy contributing global citizens who can make informed choices, working together for the betterment of our communities and the ripple effect of that is global. When people and communities come from a place of understanding and responsibility, they share with others, shift mindsets and slowly we can address inequities. (Health- physical, mental, social, emotional, spiritual well being). Why do you want to be a part of the HundrED Community?
HundrEd provides a space for innovative ideas to be shared and supported for the benefit of children all over the world. I want to be part of this community that looks to contribute to the well-being of all by transforming experiences and communities. High challenge requires high support and I want to be able to support and connect with educators from all educational contexts to achieve this. How can education support students to flourish?
Healthy minds, bodies and choices. We are preparing the next generations and I know great teachers can change the world. We are in the unique position to influence, support and guide 1000s of students’ lives throughout our careers. Can we provide an educational experience that integrates all parts of our students as well as role modelling health and well-being ourselves? What role does innovation play in education change?
