I am an educator based out of Mumbai, India. A journalist by qualification, I realized the education sector was my calling ever since I started vounteering in NGOs in my teens. I believe in education as a means of becoming self-aware and reaching one’s true potential, build connections and exercise collective power.

In my free time, I enjoy travelling, biking and being a melomaniac.

Why do you want to be a part of the HundrED Community?

There is a dire need for excellent, ready-made resources and innovative practices. HundrED is the perfect place to find these resources, to build a network of passionate educators to learn from, and to be continuously inspired by. I'm looking forward to contributing by seeking & empowering innovative K12 educational practices across the world!

How can education support students to flourish?

Imbibing life skills in pedagogical practices in a way children are prepared for the world outside school. Creating an environment that helps children to be compassionate towards themselves and others. Teaching empathy, resilience and providing the space to creatively expressing oneself is the need of the hour and I believe what should be the core purpose of education.

What role does innovation play in education change?

The world is changing fast and schools, educators, curriculum, pedagogical practices has the responsibility of equipping children to flourish within and the world around them. We need to amplify innovations that creatively empower each child by giving them ample opportunities to express themselves, upgrading the older methods so that each child reaches their true potential.

Three HundrED innovations you love. (and Why?)
