Learning experience designer, creativity and innovation passionate, looking for ways to create active learning ecosystems focused on the learner. World traveler and always willing to share and learn.

After more than 10 years of university studies (primary education teacher, psychopedagogy, postgraduate on university teaching and educational multimedia PhD) I realized that the way I was being thought, didn't help me to be able to teach others taking into account the new needs of a changing future and were not aligned to new teaching-learning models. This concern led me to dedicate my doctorate years to focus my research on the use of technology as a facilitator of teaching-learning processes, specifically the use of blogs.

After this first formative stage of my life, I had the opportunity to travel the world for 16 months, following my network of contacts of 6 degrees of separation and visiting different projects and educational experiences around the world.

I have always dedicated myself to training, at all levels. I do it with this focus on learning experience design that responds to different needs and contexts and I'm interested in new ways and learning scenarios.

Later, living in Brazil and working remotely, I materialized some entrepreneurial projects that have been another infinite source of experiences and learning, as well as networking and collaborations.

As a passionate and curious apprentice, I continue to learn continuously. In recent years I have been specializing in innovation methodologies, creativity processes, design thinking and UX designer (IDEO and The Interaction Design Foundation), agile methodologies and scrum or on learning experience design.
Parenting two young children has been another infinite source of learning and self-knowledge, taking me out of my comfort zone literally. I’m also interested in new agile organizations, high effective teams, storytelling or how to improve onboarding processes.

My hobbies are closely related to each other, connected with the outdoors: traveling, photography, the nomadism of vans and motorhomes, and the practice of most outdoor sports #neverstopexploring.

Always open to help, listen and collaborate and curious about exploring new learning methodologies. Now as Academic Director of CIB·Culinary Institute of Barcelona.

Why do you want to be a part of the HundrED Community?

I believe on sharing and cocreation as a way to add value to any project. In terms of education, to look for ways to create better learning ecosystems, we need to do it together. HundrED is one of the best places to share this vision and connect with other like-minded professionals.

How can education support students to flourish?

Education is a process that will carry on with the student for a long period of time. Any chance that we have during this process to help them to flourish, we have to make the most of it. Looking to VUCA future scenarios, we need to help them to develop a set of skills that will help those students to be able to face future challenge and flourish in a uncertain world.

What role does innovation play in education change?

The future (and the present) is changing at a such fast speed, that education institutions are not able to adapat and transform itself to the new requirements and needs. Innovation is essential to provide validated transformations and new approaches that can be incorporated to adapt to those changes.
