I found my way into ed-tech somewhat accidentally, and I'm very glad I did. It is deeply rewarding to work on innovations that have the potential to have a positive influence on the lives and futures of so many young people. It is an opportunity and a privilege that I appreciate dearly.

I'm currently the Director of User Experience & Customer Success at Makers Empire, where we create 'better learning by design'.

Why do you want to be a part of the HundrED Community?

As part of the HundrED community, I'd like to share what I've learned and continue to learn myself. Together, I hope we can create amazing positive impacts in education for the benefit of students all around the world, so we all might enjoy a brighter future.

How can education support students to flourish?

Where do I begin?! In short, education should be a lifelong journey and the best way we can support learners of any age is to empower them and equip them with the confidence, skills and desire to keep learning.

What role does innovation play in education change?

I believe innovation comes from the core belief that things could be better, and the confidence to try to make them better. So until education is perfect, i.e. never, there will always be a role for innovation. Put simply, the role of innovation in education is to make education better.
