The Fulfillment Source Code

Know Better. Do Better. Becoming Better.

We believe everyone wants to become their best selves and lead a fulfilled life, but unfortunately…. we simply don’t learn those "real-life skills" in school. To fill that gap, we curated from the world’s leading experts in neurology, biology, psychology, genetics, and nutrition. Then worked with game designers & turned it into a 20-hour course full of cool ideas a 10-year-old finds fun to learn.

About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

Originally, I did not want my daughter to go through the education system without learning the fundamental evidence-based WHYS humans need to lead a fulfilled life.
The current gap in 'real-life skill's + the pace of change + influence social media has, is resulting in doubling rates of depression and suicide among teens, not to mention the impact it's had on the adults.
We can do better.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

Through interactive, social, game-based, and active learning the Fulfillment Source Code takes the basis of the self-development industry, & makes it accessible to tweens thus empowering them to thrive.
The curriculum is presented more like a fun adventure, creating early buy-in and gradually increasing scope and complexity in a way a tween finds challenging and enjoys absorbing.

Successful face-to-face classes have been made scalable as engaging activity books, facilitated interactive videos and apps.

They can be implemented at home, as after-school activities, camps, in the classroom, or one-to-one mentoring. (different strokes for different folks)

How has it been spreading?

Student-Approved
"You are responsible for your own happiness”, is one of the FSC things that every kid should know because nowadays some children want to be popular so they do things that disagree with who they really are. I wish they would know that being happy or unhappy is controllable."
~Catherine, Grade 6

Parent-Approved
"After my child took the FSC course, she would often bring up topics that surprised me.
FSC is a very good addition to any class."
~Catherine's mom, Jo.

Teacher-Approved
"The FSC enables teachers to facilitate the learning that students need to better understand themselves and their place in the world."
~ Elaine Kinllough, 30+Years Elementary & Middle School Teacher

Looking forward... ensuring the content is scalable and accessible for kids everywhere.

If I want to try it, what should I do?

Implementation steps

Discovery
Parents discover the adventure they can have their tweens participate in.
Participation
Parents enroll their tweens into the adventure.
Engagement
Parents are actively brought into the adventure as their tweens are asked to describe the concepts to their parents after each session.
Thus providing the adventurers a chance to review/use and present the content from a position of 'authority'. (aka the Feynman Technique)
Use in Life
One of the most effective ways to learn (and truly absorb) is to show the brain the personal benefits of the content just discovered.
Engineering it so that the adventurers get early wins in, as they gradually increase complexity, helps the brain go from awareness to competency to mastery in an actively engaged manner.
