Thupten Tsewang is a Tibetan born in India. He has an engineering and MBA degree. He served as the Director of Programmes and General Manager of Administrations at the Foundation for Universal Responsibility of HH the Dalai Lama for a decade. He also worked at the Norbulingka Institute of Preserving Tibetan Arts & Culture and was one of the leading project managers of the Kalachakra Ceremony by HH the Dalai Lama in 2006.
He has been actively engaged as management consultant with The Dalai Lama Trust (India), Inspire Dialogue Foundation (UK), The Bureau of HH the Dalai Lama (Delhi), Inter-Educare e.V. (Germany), SEE Learning-Emory University (USA) and Sanskara Development Trust (India). With key interest in learning various aspects of life to offer, Thupten Tsewang is currently associated as an education & management consultant with Mr Arun Kapur, a leading educationist, with his various projects & organisations in India & Bhutan.
