 I am a Lebanese educator whose vision is to prepare Social Entrepreneurs capable of solving social, economic, and environmental challenges through reorienting curricula towards Education For Sustainable Development. I represented Lebanon in International UNESCO Conferences including COP 21. I have a PHD in Education for Sustainable Development. I am now a member of Lebanese Association for Educational Studies and contributing in "Khaddit Beirut" initiative . I was honored to be Distinguished Teacher Striving for Excellence in 2018 by H Institute and I received Leader for Change Award 2018 in the international competition organized by Project Education. I am the director of Entrepreneur Academy Lebanon and currently the principal of Al Manar Modern School – Ras el Maten-Lebanon and a university instructor.

Sharing expertise in implementing quality education that reinforces values is one of the main reasons behind joining HundrED community. I totally believe in the strength of education to build global citizens who are creative and problem solvers able to transform the world into a better peaceful place.

How can education support students to flourish?

Through 1)Integrating ESD into curriculum content, 2) using active learning strategies, 3)reinforcing a democratic learning environment and Problem-oriented project-based learning, and 4) activating parent involvement and community partnerships, we can create a good global citizen with sustainable norms.

What role does innovation play in education change?

Innovation is the major characteristic of Education 2030. It will equip learners with the skills to solve problems and to become successful entrepreneurs at young ages.
