Fascinated by innovations in education around the world, I seek to be an active player in the international, progressive pedagogy movement. In addition, I am committed to promoting STE(A)M education and the UN SDGs in Chile and Latin America, I am a professional educator with experience working in the UK, Belgium and Chile. Experienced in teacher training and mentoring, particularly in the areas of invention education and Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). I aim to help learners develop their talents and interests, while channelling their creativity, inspiring them to search for solutions to real-world problems, project-based learning, overcoming failure and frustration, to design, build and innovate, which, in turn, helps them to develop self-esteem and the confidence to know that they can be agents of change in their communities.

Why do you want to be a part of the HundrED Community?

I love learning about what people are doing around the world. There are amazing and inspiring educational innovations going on and hundrED is an excellent way of bringing these together so that they can be shared and recognized globally. I am honored to be a part of this community and hope to learn from other community members to continue to improve and innovate my work and to inspire them, too.

How can education support students to flourish?

Education is the key to a better life. Only through education can students realize their true potential and have the opportunities they need to develop their skills and abilities. There are so many inequalities throughout the world so giving students education is a step towards bridging these gaps and helping them to problem-solve when faced with the many challenges of the future.

What role does innovation play in education change?

Just as life, knowledge and society evolve, so too, must education. In a changing world, the way students learn must change, too. It is fundamental that education reaches out to all students and inspires them. Innovating new teaching methods and programs is essential for fulfilling the needs of students from around the world.
