Brenda is a youth education and engagement specialist, scholarship search strategist, non-profit communications professional, and a community builder. She is experienced in diverse sectors, including international development and public education, facilitating youth programs focused on women and girls’ rights, community sustainability, cultural inclusion, and cultural exchange and effective storytelling. Brenda is the founder of the ‘Ephphatha Tranaformation Academy’; an initiative which offers opportunities to underprivileged youths and women through study, service, mentorship and skills training, empowering them to make a positive change in their community. Since 2017 till now, the project has educated nearly 40, 000 youths across the world. ETA serves as a capacity building, personal development, mental health and well-being of youths and women. From August 2017 till December 2018, Brenda has helped students gain over $1.4 Million in scholarships across Africa and Canada.
