Why do you want to be a part of the HundrED Community?

I'm interested in learning about innovative best practices from other professionals around the world and sharing my expertise with others.

How can education support students to flourish?

Education supports students when the goal is a personalized learning experience that excites and motivates students. Schools must be built on relationships and understanding the needs and passions of their learners.

What role does innovation play in education change?

Schools must always take continuous improvement into consideration. No school is perfect or should be resting on its laurels; we can always do better. Exploring innovative best practices inspires change in schools.

Three HundrED innovations you love. (and Why?)

Exploring by the Seat of Your Pants - It's a great free resource for bringing the world into your classroom.

The Global Oneness Project - The Global Oneness Project is a treasure trove of thoughfully produced multimedia and lessons for educators.

Fundación Escuela Nueva - The founder of this school spoke at one of my global education conferences a few years ago and I found her work to be inspiring.

Three innovations you would love for HundrED to know about. (and Why?)

Landmark College- This is a higher education institution for neurodiverse learners and my daughter just started attending this college!

North Shore Country Day School - Check out our new Live and Serve Lab and Library which will open in September. We're focused on project-based service-learning opportunities for students.

GlobalEd Events - In addition to working in a school, I run a non-profit with a partner that focuses on mostly virtual events for global educators. Join our network, too!
