Basics in Creative Problem Solving
In collaboration with Helsinki Design Week, HundrED is organising an event in which 100 Finnish teachers will be given the opportunity to learn the basics of creative problem solving and design thinking. The course will be conducted in a way that will enable teachers to take all that they learn and use it in their daily teaching practises.
What is the idea of the experiment?
Design thinking is based on an ideology and practice that combines empathy, creativity and rational thinking. The HundrED program will be formatted in such a way that will be scalable and easy to implement for each Finnish school following the event.
How will the experiment be scheduled and how will it be put into practice?
The event will be organised in the Fall of 2016.
What are the goals you are looking to achieve with the experiment?
The goal of the experiment is to teach 100 Finnish teachers the basics of creative problem solving and design thinking skills and encourage them to integrate these techniques into their everyday teaching practises.
