Classtime is a solution for teachers that complements in-class teaching with immediate feedback on every student’s level of understanding by asking questions and validating answers. Our Collaborative Stories furthermore enable a teacher to create a narrative around his or her lesson plan that motivates students to work together towards a common goal. Launched in early 2017.
Introduction

Classtime - The clear path to student success

“I just want to thank you for this amazing site. Today I played the challenges with my math 5th grade students and they were blown away. They said it was the best math class ever.”

Sanela, teacher

Classtime is a solution for teachers that complements in-class teaching with immediate feedback on every student’s level of understanding by asking  questions and validating answers.

Unlike a time-boxed quiz, Classtime aims to be a teacher’s digital companion, e.g. by showing and hiding single questions on students’ devices when needed.  Additionally, our Collaborative Stories enable a teacher to create a narrative around his or her lesson plan that motivates students to take responsibility of their own learning progress and work together towards a common goal.  Collaborative Challenges are animated stories that progress in different ways depending on how a class performs - imagine a class learning about the Pythagorean Theorem, and have their learning progress linked to the build-up of a bridge, which is projected in front of the whole class. Every student gets a voice, and as the students answer correctly, the bridge building progresses until successful completion.

This concept can be applied to a plethora of subjects in a sufficiently generic way, but still remaining relevant to the curriculum or even linking it to carreer opportunities, and thus making learning for the kids more purpose- and meaningful and therefore sustainable.
