In this 21 century, to train children in computer skills, will be highly good and enable them to explore the full potential. Kakuma Refugee camp is placed in the rural area and disconnect children to the rest of the world. Computer training will empower children and prepare them for the better future. As Refugee Educator, I think that provide basic computer skills to them is good.

What we do?

At African Initiative for Human Development, we are training children in computer basic skills in two levels:

1) Level one is dedicated to prepare children in computer basic application like Rapid typing, Keyboard, Ms word, Ms Excel, Ms paint, Internet and Network. This level allows our students to familiarize themselves with computer issues.

2) In level two, children are trained in Ms PowerPoint, Ms Publisher, Ms Access.


Why we do it?

The main reason that push us to invest in EdTechnology is digitalized the thinking of our children.
