News media and youth work together using journalism as a tool for stronger citizenship
We honor and help news media in effectively educating about journalism in ways that help young audiences navigate all kinds of content. We help youth amplify their journalistic voices. Our latest awards honor news media and educators who make sure students understand the key role of journalism and the dangers some people face to do that job and teenagers’ profiles of their climate champions.

What we do?
We encourage links between news media and youth through our Global Youth & News Media Prize awards that honor news media that support children and teenagers, and World Teenage Reporting Projects that amplify the solutions reporting of teenage journalists about their peers or worthy adults.
Why we do it?
We worry about journalism is becoming more and more demonized and believe strongly that journalistic behaviors are an excellent way to approach any kind of content.
