Md. Shefatul Islam, an adept Education Technology Expert at Aspire to Innovate (a2i), ICT
Division, Bangladesh, entered the Bangladesh Civil Service in 2017 as a lecturer of Economics. A
Prime Minister’s Office Service Innovation Fund laureate in 2016, he leads the nation's largest
educational platforms, "Konnect", “Muktopaath” and "Teachers Portal"; As the project
manager for the National Assessment Platform, jointly led by the Ministry of Education and ICT
Division, he plays a crucial role. Mr. Islam is pivotal in formulating Bangladesh's Blended
Education Master Plan (2022-2041) and collaborates with NCTB on curriculum design.
Specialized in instructional design, he excels in both online and in-person teachers'; training and
project-based learning.
