High School Skill Club of Entrepreneurs is a platform for skill acquisition for Nigerians Students who are preparing to enter into the university or that have graduated from university.Our goal is to help every young people to have a Skill that is sustainable to help reduce the rate of unemployment among Nigerian graduates.We aims to create groups of same career aspirants in high schools .

About the innovation

THE PURPOSE / OBJECTIVES OF HIGH SCHOOL SKILLS CLUB OF ENTREPRENEURS.

The primary objectives of High school Skills Club of Entrepreneurs is to produce More and enhanced entrepreneurs , who would from high school Identify the problems in line with 17 SGDs and Discovered how their career fit- in solving them.This will add value to the global economic growth and decent jobs which is the 8th goal of SGDs while preparing entrepreneurs who will achieved all other goals. This Clubs will help students make mental shift to Independence earlier such that the motivating factor for their chosen course careers would be born from a discovered problems  and passion to solved them with the information and skills they get from the club and the university.

Implementation steps

IMPLEMENTATION AND SUSTAINABILITY

They will be in-charge of overall superintendence of the project, monitoring every aspect from time-to-time. Project Officers: They will be the responsible person to submit the total field reports and needs. Project Executors: They will consist of members, volunteer and club leaders (students who are heads of their groups): They will be responsible to carry-out the activities of the club. In addition to the number of our community members and volunteers, students who are studying Social Work will be encouraged to work with us as part of their mandatory weekly activities and also in their 6-12 months experience. This will help the team reach all schools and have the weekends to learn new skills through our train-the-trainers' weekend programs. By extending partnership opportunities to more governmental/educational agencies, private companies, NGOs, social clubs, international bodies, we expect to sustain the impact by attracting the government to include entrepreneurship education in-line with SDGs into primary and post primary education curriculum by the year 2022. Awareness for partnership will be created via our TV programs, Radio-talk and seminars. Sources of fund: While we would seek funds from grant-giving institutions and other bodies, the club will not be philanthropic infusion. We will supply products such as car-wash, liquid-wash, bar-soap, house paints; antiseptic, hair-cream, body-cream, perfume among others.Focus area; Meachanical Engineering
